Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Try Hard Studios LLC, a California company ("we," "us," or "our"), handles information when you use 17-0, the free perfect-season football draft game at perfect170.com. Questions can be sent to contact@perfect170.com.

Information We Handle

You can play 17-0 without creating an account. The site handles the following:

Game state stored in your browser (localStorage): your theme choice, win streak, best streak, games played, best record, perfect-season count, daily challenge result, display name (if you set one), and flags such as whether you have dismissed an install or notification prompt. This also includes two randomly generated anonymous IDs: a player ID and a head-to-head fingerprint. This data lives on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Leaderboard and score records (stored in our Supabase database): when you finish games, we store your anonymous player ID, your optional display name, streak, best streak, number of perfect seasons, games played and last-played time, and your daily challenge result (date, wins and losses). When you record a perfect season we also store an encoded copy of your roster (player names) and how long the session took. Display names appear on public leaderboards, so please do not use your real name or other personal information as a display name.
Head-to-head challenge results: when a head-to-head challenge is completed, we store both rosters (encoded), both season win totals, the outcome, and the responder's anonymous fingerprint.
Optional email for saving a streak: if you enter an email to save your streak, we store it together with your player ID, current streak and best streak. We use it only for that feature: there is no automatic recovery or cross-device sync, but if you contact us we can look up and restore your streak by hand. It is not used to build advertising profiles.
Optional push notification subscription: if you choose to turn on daily reminders and grant permission in your browser, we store your player ID, display name (if set), and the push subscription details your browser provides (an endpoint address and encryption keys). A scheduled job uses these to send an optional daily reminder notification. You can turn notifications off in your browser settings, or ask us to delete the subscription.
Server and device data: like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) receives standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 on this site's pages to understand how the game is used. Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar identifiers and collects information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services for details.

Advertising, Cookies and Consent

We use Google AdSense to show ads on perfect170.com. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. To learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent management platform, where the law requires it, before personalized ads are shown, so you can choose whether ads may use cookies and similar technologies for personalization and measurement.
